Katrina has over 28 years experience in the SMSF and Accounting industry. With a Bachelor of Business with ACU and the majority of a Law Degree with UNE, whilst being a partner in a multi-disciplinary Law, Accounting and Financial planning firm. She holds a specialist membership accreditation as a SMSF Specialist with the SMSF Association as a Fellow Specialist SMSF Auditor and Advisor (dual FSSA and FSSAud specialist). Shes also Chartered Accountant and holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services. For over a decade she has chaired the Northern Region NSW SMSF Association local chapter, and sits on the SMSF Auditors professional Stakeholders group with the ATO. Recently awarded Superannuation Auditor of the Year 2023 and 2020 (Australian Accounting Awards and Auditor of the year 2021 (Women In Finance Award). Shes also branched out into audit training and speaking/presenting for the IPA and the SMSF Association.
Outside of work, she loves to stand up paddle board and snow board.
SMSF Auditor
Stacey Morris is a SMSF Auditor at Elite Super Pty Ltd and she is starting the IPA program. Elite Super is an Australian based SMSF specialist audit firm celebrating 15 years in business in 2020. Managing director Katrina Fletcher was recently announced as the 2020 Superannuation Auditor of the Year!
Stacey began her career in the financial services sector, qualifications include Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Planning and accreditation of SMSF Specialist Auditor (SSAud) and SMSF Specialist Adviser (SSA) from the SMSF Association.
Stacey enjoys working with clients to develop a strong SMSF audit relationship and strives to exceed expectations. Our focus is to create a long lasting partnership, to help educate trustees and strengthen the SMSF sector with high quality audits.
Stacey and her husband have two gorgeous girls, and they all enjoy the outdoors and exploring new places.
SMSF administration
Erik manages Elite Super’s audit file setup and permanent file compliance. He has a certificate IV in accounting from Port Macquarie TAFE. Outside of work, Erik is a keen drawer and creative writer.
Ellie assists in the preparation and archiving of SMSF audit files, lodgements of Audit Completion Advices with the ATO, and all book keeping work for Elite Super. Ellie has a certificate 3 in dance at Newcastle National College of Dance and is currently studying at Newcastle Uni.

In October 2023 Gerard joined the Elite team after contracting part-time during the previous 18 months. Having spent over 18 years at his previous employer involved in Tax, Auditing, Financial Planning and Bookkeeping, Gerard was approached by Elite Super to join the team to specialise in SMSF Auditing. Gerard brings a wide range of skills and expertise from his experiences to compliment the work he performs as an SMSF auditor. Gerard believes Australia has the best superannuation system in the world, and sees his role as helping to ensure Australians who choose to look after their own retirement funds can do so within the SMSF framework. At home Gerard and his wife have three children who keep them pretty busy with extracurricular activities

The audit fee depends on many factors such as your firm software, number of audits, your practice quality controls, as well as your preferred billing method. Price GuideThe above is a guide only and we prefer to receive a draft copy of the financial report before providing a quote. We prefer not to categorise fees because it can unfairly apply, and the above should be a guide only of the range of our audit fees. If the audit contains a breach that is required by the ATO to be reported to them, up to an extra $150 is added for an auditor contravention report and audit qualification depending on the number of breaches and the simplicity of the rectification. (This includes detailed management letter outlining the breach and also advice to the accountants/trustees to rectify the breach).
Note that the above fees can be locked in at a lower fixed rate for large SMSF administration firms with over 100 funds.
